Welcome to K9 Training School Dixie! This beautiful Golden is with Topline K9 Solutions to learn to greet people politely, walk on a leash with no pulling, and not help herself to people food in the kitchen :).
1. Don’t be overeager. If your dog is not reliable when you are around, he is not going to be reliable when you are not around! Take your time. Some dogs can be 2-4 years old before they can be trusted out of a crate. 2. Start out by testing him at night when he […]
Welcoming Teak to K9 Training School! Teak, a 3-year old Goldendoodle, is settling in nicely. She has met the house dogs and cats, and likes everyone. Teak went for a walk yesterday and did fairly well following Trainer Dawn’s lead. Here, she is sitting, waiting for her trainer to release her from the top of […]
Going out of town and love the idea of your dog’s training being kept up? That would be us! Here is Allie Mae showing her fun time with her trainer Ryan Walker, while still working on great manners. Here is why our Continuing Education program is so popular: Enjoy peace of mind while out of […]
Max is enjoying his outing at Pullen Park. He also gets to work on good manners including listening to his humans. He is practicing sitting with another pooch in different areas of the park. At this point, he is also working on distance sit-useful for Santa photos, foundation for Come, and self-control. Good job Max!
Jo is learning that sit is better than jump! Not only great for self-control, sit helps with focus and listening. It can then be used in so many ways around the house and out in public. Good job buddy :).
This cute doxie mix stayed with Topline while Dad was out of town. Pippa can have her temper tantrums so it was a great time for us to get to know her triggers, work with her, and give Dad useful feedback. Not even doxies are allowed bad manners at Topline 🙂
Bobo is here to work on his basic training, walking nicely on a leash and public manners. The first thing he’s learned is that he has to sit and wait to come out of his crate and sit and wait at the back door. He’s doing a great job!
